Every pool
runs dry
somewhere.
LiqNet reads every pool on Robinhood Chain from its own storage and publishes the two numbers no quote carries: how far the venues disagree, and how much each one takes before it runs out.
Same share.
Different price.
Every venue's quote for one share, at one block. Only venues that can fill the smallest order count: an emptied pool keeps the last price it saw, and no one can trade against it.
Most of it
won't move.
Dashboards add up what the pools hold. LiqNet adds up what an order can draw out before the price has moved ten percent. They are different numbers, and the gap between them is the point.
Reserves are the indexer's own figures, taken offline. Depth is walked live, to the point where the marginal price has moved 10% or the liquidity runs out.
You are not buying
from anyone.
A pool is a reservoir
Shares and dollars sit together in one contract. When you buy, nobody agrees to sell: you draw shares out and leave dollars in their place.
Every share costs more
The pool reprices after each unit that leaves. A deep pool barely moves for a small order; a shallow one jumps. That difference is your cost to fill.
Then the seam ends
Liquidity sits in bands. Past the last one there is nothing left at any price, and no venue tells you where that is until your order finds it.
One share, many pools
The same stock trades in a dozen pools that never speak to each other. They disagree all the time, and the cheapest quote is often the thinnest.
Every number
names its block.
The walk stops where the pool does
Each pool's own swap loop, replayed against its own ticks in the same integer arithmetic the contract runs. Where liquidity ends, the line ends.
One symbol, one address
Several tokens answer to the same ticker. Each resolves to the address that carries the market; the ones set aside are named, not hidden.
Unknown geometry is left out
Four kinds of pool arithmetic live on this chain. A pool whose kind or tick spacing can't be established from the chain is excluded, not guessed at.
$LIQNET
The instrument is free and stays free. The token is how people who think it should exist can say so. It carries no claim on anything: no fees flow to it, it votes on nothing, and there is no treasury behind it.
